We collaborate directly with our student-led team (whose ages range from 9 to 18) to develop classroom tools and resources with which to co-create democratic school communities, and foster civic engagement.

We’re also leaders in a statewide committee of educators (and other adults & teens) hosted by DemocracyReady NY to advance civics in elementary school on a local, state and national level, often informed by our work with the student team.

We provide all we do for free: We are funded through grants and donations.
